Employee protection is a major feature of our surgery insurance policy and looks after employees aged between 16 and 70. Included as standard, employee protection covers situations where an injury or death occurs as a result of a theft or attempted theft on the business premises.
Compensation can come in the form of a one off payment or monthly allowance, the value of which is dependant on the severity of the injury. Death that occurs as a result of an incident is also covered, and applies to following two years after the incident, with regards to the original injury.
The insurance also extends to protect the employee's personal belongings. Items of clothing and personal effects belonging to the insured or an employee, damaged during a theft are covered. A £500 limit is applied to any one person.
