The importance of keeping records of your accounts cannot be understated. Loss of accounts receivable is included in our surgery insurance and is designed to help.

When you lose your accounting records it can affect your business in many ways. Outstanding and new orders are at risk as well as records for the Inland Revenue and VAT office. Rectifying the situation will take a considerable amount of time.

Our loss of accounts receivable covers a wide variety of scenarios that could be the cause of you losing your accounting records. The insured perils, not exclusive to but include: fire, flood, theft, subsidence and escaping water.

Loss of account receivable is a facet of you surgery insurance policy that comes as standard and will pay up to 10,000 towards the cost of recovering lost accounting records.

The policy does have its limitations. Loss of accounts receivable does not cover accidental erasure, misfiling of records or computer hacking and viruses.
