Terrorism cover

Unfortunately terrorism is a very real threat in the UK today. The MOD regularly acts on reports of suspected terrorist plots.

Terrorism is defined as an individual or a group of people attempting to overthrow or influence, by force or violence, a government and its people.

By their very nature, terrorist attacks are indiscriminate and random. Often it is not only the intended target that is affected but also the buildings surrounding it.

Terrorism insurance is available as an optional extra on our standard policy. Our flexible system allows you to select only the areas of the policy that apply to your surgery. This helps keep our premiums competitive.

The policy protects all surgery buildings against damage resulting from terrorist attack as well as the contents of buildings such as computers. You will also be covered for any disruption to trade resulting from acts of terrorism.

As well as traditional terrorism, our policy covers biological, chemical and nuclear pollution caused by dirty bombs. Our generous cover will indemnify you up to £25,000,000 for damages and loss in any one year.
